ProEducation Solutions (ProEd) is pleased to announce that
Tor Shekerjian has joined the management team as
Vice President for Project Management. "We are very
pleased that Tor has accepted this position with us. He brings
a proven track record in financial aid administration. Tor has
a thorough understanding of financial aid systems, interfaces,
project management, and media outreach. His ability to
comprehend the big picture while understanding the depth
and breadth of the details makes Tor an extremely valuable
asset to our clients," said Paul Gilroy, Ph.D., President and
CEO of ProEducation Solutions, LLC.
Mr. Shekerjian brings over 25 years of financial aid experience to ProEd, with positions ranging from assistant director to assistant dean in the private, for-profit, and graduate/professional financial aid sectors. Prior to joining ProEd Mr. Shekerjin gained valuable experience working with another consulting firm, the New York State guarantor (HESC), and the student loan industry. He will be spearheading many major new initiatives for ProEd while managing client projects. Mr. Shekerjian is providing invaluable assistance for ProEd's launch of our new website. In addtion, he will be leading the Mentor and Analyst services announced previously.

His professional experience includes: School Partner with Health and Human Services, Health Resources & Services Admin, Div. Of Student Assistance; Liaison with the New York State guarantor (HESC) on a variety of debt management initiatives and outreach events; North East Representative to the Association of American Medical Colleges Committee on Student Financial Aid (COSFA); Vice President of the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA), where he delivered statewide training and programs, and, Chair of the North East Group on Student Affairs (NEGSA) Financial Aid Committee.
He holds a BFA in music performance and has recorded for major recording studios.
