FA 101: Overview of the Student Financial Aid Programs

In this course, we will present a general profile of the student financial aid programs, with an emphasis
on the Title IV programs. Our objective is to:

  • Provide you with an understanding of what types of aid are available

  • List the major features of each program

  • Provide a foundation for continued learning in the field of financial aid administration

This course contains 8 lessons:

  • Lesson 1: Overview of Financial Aid and Federal Pell Grant

  • Lesson 2: ACG & SMART Grant Programs

  • Lesson 3: TEACH Grant Program

  • Lesson 4: Campus-Based Programs Common Provisions, FSEOG, and FWS

  • Lesson 5: Federal Perkins Loan Program

  • Lesson 6: FFEL & Federal Direct Student Loan Programs

  • Lesson 7: FFEL & Federal Direct Student Loan Programs, Part 2
