FA 105: Packaging

In this course, we will present a detailed look at what packaging is, when it is applied, and how it is formulated. Our objectives are to enable you to:

  • Understand the packaging process;

  • Learn to recognize the variety of fund sources that form the packaging aid sources;

  • Learn to properly calculate and apply the need formula and non-need formula; and

  • Learn to implement and apply the various packaging policies.

This course contains 5 lessons:

  • Lesson 1: Introduction: What is Packaging?

  • Lesson 2: Packaging Objectives, Considerations, and Guidelines

  • Lesson 3: Packaging Models

  • Lesson 4: Packaging Notifications and Other Considerations

  • Lesson 5: Exercises in Packaging: The Packaging Models
