NASFAA Webinars are the Association's newest means of delivering high quality, accurate training to members. Webinars deliver information to you, in your office, via the Internet. No travel is required and your time commitment is an hour and a half at most.

  • SAP – Evaluating Your Policy — October 7, 2009
    On October 7, NASFAA presented a Webinar on satisfactory academic progress. This Webinar will cover topics such as an overview of the standards for an effective SAP policy, the treatment of atypical academic grades and coursework, how to handle student appeals and reinstatements, and relationship of consumer information and SAP.

  • Dependency Status: It Isn’t the Riddle of the Sphinx — October 21, 2009
    On October 21, NASFAA presented a Webinar to discuss the criteria by which a student is considered independent for Title IV purposes. NASFAA will provide resources to help participants determine whether or not a student meets a specific criterion and to resolve conflicting information. It will examine dependency appeals in depth, and will feature a discussion of dependency appeal scenarios submitted by registrants.
