This Webinar, SAP – Evaluating Your Policy, will enable attendees to evaluate their school’s current SAP policy. Topics will include:

  • An overview of the standards for an effective SAP policy

  • The treatment of atypical academic grades and coursework, such as:

    • Nonpunitive grades and repeated courses

    • Audited and pass/fail courses

    • Withdrawals and nonattendance

    • Incomplete grades

    • Noncredit remedial and enrichment courses

    • English as a Second Language (ESL) courses

    • Consortium credit hours earned/failed

    • Treatment of multiple degrees, i.e. second certificate or associate/baccalaureate/graduate degree

    • Treatment of double majors

    • Transfer hours from foreign institutions

  • How to handle student appeals and reinstatements

  • Relationship of consumer information and SAP
