NASFAA Webinar

Topic: Financial Literacy for Graduate Students
Date Recorded: November 6, 2008
Duration: 90 minutes

Many graduate and professional students enter the workforce with educational debt well over $100,000. Moreover, older graduate students carry nearly twice as much credit card debt as their younger counterparts. Studies show the majority of graduate and professional students still need information on reducing credit card debt, financing graduate school, and managing money. Without this knowledge, students often make poor choices that can have a negative impact on their future.

To help you help your students make better-informed financial decisions, join us for NASFAA’s free Webinar, “Financial Literacy for Graduate Students,” on November 6 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

Speakers from NASFAA’s Graduate and Professional Issues Committee will address the growing need for effective counseling, and explain how you can identify and meet the financial preparation needs of your prospective and current graduate students.

Although the Webinar is focused on graduate/professional programs, the content is relevant for everyone who has an interest in improving the financial literacy of college students at any level, so please feel free to share this announcement with your on- and off-campus colleagues.

The Webinar will offer:
