News from NASFAA
Written by NASFAA staff, the News from NASFAA column is distributed to financial aid state and regional newsletter and Web site editors on a monthly basis.

Media Inquiries
Many answers to basic financial aid questions can be found in Facts for the Media, prepared by NASFAA staff. Please review this document prior to submitting a question.

After reviewing the document, if you still have questions, send an email to elinemk@nasfaa.org detailing your topic and questions. Include your name, publication, phone number, and deadline. Your email will be forwarded to appropriate NASFAA staff members. This is the FASTEST way to get a response from staff.

While we try to accommodate all requests, some deadlines cannot be met due to staff availability. If we cannot answer your question, we will try to provide source recommendations.

Media Inquiries for NASFAA Campus Members
If you have questions for individuals at NASFAA member institutions - financial aid professionals on campus - we can assist you by forwarding your email to our "media-savvy members." These are members who have volunteered to speak with the media on occasion. In your e-mail, include your name, publication, phone number, deadline, topic, and questions. Be very specific. If someone is willing to speak with you, they will contact you by phone or email. We cannot guarantee a response. And we NEVER release this list of volunteers.

Member News Releases
To submit a news release for posting on the Association's Web site and Today's News, send the release to the editor at Web@NASFAA.org.
