The Financial Aid Business Solutions Seminars provide an additional opportunity for
businesses to educate NASFAA Conference attendees on various emerging hardware and software technologies, services, alternative financing issues, and more.
These seminars give your business additional exposure to NASFAA Members and provide an additional way for you to support the Conference.

By presenting a seminar, you will not only have the opportunity to educate Conference attendees on your products/services, but you will also gain added exposure through special recognition in the pre-Conference and Conference programs and on the NASFAA Web Site.

Who Can Participate?
Any NASFAA Member corporation that is a Chair or Premier level participant at the 2007 NASFAA Conference may submit an application to present a seminar. The Chair Level package automatically includes a Financial Aid Business Solutions Seminar, subject to approval of the seminar proposal.

Seminar Content
Each seminar must be approved by NASFAA. NASFAA reserves the right to limit the number of participating organizations of any type (e.g. lenders, software
companies, etc.), or to limit seminars on the same topic.

Where conflicts develop NASFAA will use the following selection criteria:

• The organization’s history of participation in past conferences (using point totals
as a guideline)
• The level of chosen participation (Chair level will be given highest preference)
• Subject matter and detail of proposal
• Date of receipt of package, proposal, and deposit (In some instances NASFAA may
offer your organization the option to do a seminar with different content.)

Seminar Schedule
• Presenters will be expected to make their presentation twice
during the conference
• Each seminar will be 75 minutes in length
• The seminars will be scheduled concurrently with the interest sessions
• Rooms will be set to accommodate at least 50 people, theatre style, with
space for a minimal amount of audio/visual equipment

Audio/Visual
Each organization is responsible for arranging and paying for audio/visual equipment. An audio-visual form with be sent with each confirmation letter. It is the organizations responsibility to complete and return each form.

Fees
The basic fee for the Financial Aid Business Solutions Seminar is $2,700. The fee is included in the Advertising & Exhibit Package 1. Package 2 includes either a sponsorship or a seminar. A package 2 participant who would like to sponsor a function or item can add a seminar to their package at the cost of $2,700. Payment
in full is due by May 11, 2007.

To Apply
Seminar application must be submitted by March 2, 2007, and must be returned with the Exhibitor/Sponsor/Advertiser Contract along with the $900 deposit. Note
As a suggestion, conferees have overwhelmingly indicated that they enjoy FABS seminars that do not focus on the product and services of the company, but on management or other areas of interest in the financial aid office.

Seminar application must be submitted by March 2, 2007. After March 2nd, NASFAA cannot guarantee that space will be available for a seminar. No refunds will be made if the due date is not met. Space is limited, so submit your application early.
