SASFAA Representative, Tallahassee Community College
Bill Spiers, FAAC®, is currently the director of financial aid at Tallahassee Community College, a position he has held for almost 23 years. He has 36 years as a director of financial aid and has served at the state, regional, and national levels. He has served on the NASFAA Institutional Program Management Committee, Training and Professional Development Committee, Training and Best Practices Committee, and the Federal Issues Committee. Within SASFAA he has served as president, legislative relations chair, and on the Governance and Planning Committee, Long Range Planning Committee, and the Nominating Committee. In FASFAA he has served as president, fiscal planning chair, legislative chair, parliamentarian, on the Nominations Committee, and as regional representative. He has also served on numerous committees for the College Board. Currently he is appointed by the governor of Florida as a member of the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. as a board member, and is their treasurer.
