The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) were quickly established in 2020 to provide students with support in a time of national crisis. To understand the success and challenges of this program, NASFAA, NASPA, and MDRC partnered to conduct surveys and focus groups with college and university administrators and students. Join us to learn about the experiences and perspectives of these administrators and students, and to learn how this can inform future emergency aid policies, programs, and practices.
