Join NASFAA’s Norma Robinson and a guest panel of financial aid administrators (FAAs) for an in-depth conversation about crafting the cost of attendance (COA). This webinar will focus on those additional components, such as dependent care, first professional licensure costs, and disability-related costs, that must be included in the COA when they apply to the student and how they differ from optional professional judgment (PJ) adjustments for special circumstances. We will also review the 2023-24 award year changes to COA requirements from the FAFSA Simplification Act, and the panel will discuss how these changes affected their policies and procedures. This webinar will be helpful for FAAs for undergraduate and graduate/professional student populations.
