NASFAA's highest priority is the health and safety of our members and as such we are committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment that does not place NASFAA event attendees or staff at undue risk.
Absent federal travel restrictions and/or local, state, or regional decisions to close venues, NASFAA has not canceled any meetings at this time, including the NASFAA 2020 conference this summer in Las Vegas. Please note that MGM-owned properties in Las Vegas, including the ARIA Resort where NASFAA 2020 is to be held, are currently closed to the public. We do not know how long they will remain so, but rest assured that NASFAA staff are in regular contact with the property and will keep conference registrants apprised of any important developments.
We commit to maintaining all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures at NASFAA-hosted events, and encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. If there are any changes to event schedules, we will provide information to registrants about virtual or other options that may be available and/or other specific details.
As a precautionary measure, NASFAA is actively working with conference venue providers to increase sanitization practices and healthy habits for all events. At this time, our National Conference refund, substitution, and cancellation policies remain in place.
