Below are some important details to help make your conference experience a great one. If you have any questions, please email Membership Services.
Printed programs will not be offered at the conference. All the important information you need can be accessed on your mobile device using the NASFAA Conference App. On the device you're bringing to the conference, access the App Store or Google Play Store and search for “NASFAA”. Once you've downloaded the app, search for NASFAA within it when prompted, select NASFAA Austin 2022, and tap the Download Event icon. Enter your first name, last name, and email address; you must use the email address that corresponds to your conference registration. You'll receive an email containing a verification code. Enter the code in the app, then you'll be logged in and taken to the NASFAA Conference App home page. You’ll only have to select the event once; you’ll be prompted to log in approximately once per day.
Printed handouts will not be provided at the conference. In order to view session handouts and participate in surveys, you will need to download the NASFAA Conference App and add the sessions you plan to attend to your personal agenda within the app. If you wish to download, save, and/or print session handouts, you can do so on the event website, or by using the web version of the app. Please note, handouts are only available if provided to NASFAA by the presenters.
If you have already paid your full conference registration fee, you may check in using a self-service station by typing in your name. Your badge and drink tickets will print at the kiosk once you've checked in. Don't forget to pick up a tote bag and other swag!
To receive complimentary access to the Consumer Information NASFAA professional credential test post-conference, you must scan the QR code on your badge as you enter the room so we know you were in attendance. You must attend the full session to be eligible to sit for the corresponding credential test.
It can be hard to make new friends at large conferences, so we've created several optional events to jump-start your conference networking.
Business casual attire and comfortable shoes are a must. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket to stay warm in the air-conditioned meeting rooms.
NASFAA is committed to providing a safe, productive, and harassment-free environment at the national conference and other NASFAA-sponsored events. Please review and adhere to NASFAA's Event Conduct Policy.
In alignment with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we have teamed up with VisitAustin.org to compile a list of multicultural and minority-owned businesses in the city of Austin. Check it out for dining suggestions and fun things to do during your free time.
The deadline to receive a refund has passed. There are no refunds for no-shows. If someone will be attending the conference in your place, view the Cancellation/Change Form for information and instructions.
If you experience any airline issues/flight delays, please directly contact the hotel where you will be staying to ask them to modify your reservation and/or hold a room for you.
All NASFAA 2022 attendees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Attendees may choose to wear a mask if they like, but will not be required to do so. If you experience any symptoms associated with COVID-19 leading up to or during the conference, or have other coronavirus-related disruptions that will not allow you to safely attend the conference, you may complete the Cancellation Form and indicate so in the "Reason for Cancellation" field; you will not be charged the cancellation fee. If you test positive for COVID-19 while at the conference, please mask immediately, return to or remain in your hotel room and notify your hotel’s general manager, who will advise you on protocols and your options for next steps in accordance with convention center and hotel policies. Please also notify NASFAA staff as soon as possible by sending an email to Membership Services. We thank you for your dedication to helping prevent any potential spread and to keeping other conference attendees and staff safe.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Safe travels!
