Administering Title IV Aid For Transfer Students, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

In the 2019 NASFAA Conference session, “Administering Title IV Aid For Transfer Students,” the U.S. Department of Education (ED) reminded financial aid administrators that there is no federal policy that requires schools to collect academic transcripts from all other schools a transfer student has ever attended. This is a school policy or a policy of the school’s accrediting or state agency—not ED. ED does, however, require schools to report all transfer students to the NSLDS Transfer Monitoring process.
