Most of the department's efforts under Trump have been focused on rolling back Obama-era regulations, including those meant to protect students from predatory for-profit colleges. The administration in May also finalized new Title IX campus sexual assault regulations that raised the bar of proof for sexual misconduct and bolstered the rights of those accused, while also introducing new protections that for the first time ever include sexual harassment in the scope of the sex discrimination law."
