Scenario: A school has students who received the return of Title IV (R2T4) waiver for COVID-19-related withdrawals in which some of the students have received post-withdrawal disbursements (PWDs). How do schools handle post-withdrawal disbursements when completing the Lump Sum Reporting for the U.S. Department of Education (ED)?
Answer: Any aid that the student would have received as a PWD should be included as disbursed aid in the R2T4 calculation. That amount is then reported in the lump sum as aid the student received and was not returned. PWDs are not reported separately.
