ED Delays Changes to QBER Form Due April 10

By NASFAA Policy & Federal Relations Staff

On Tuesday, the Department of Education (ED) confirmed to NASFAA that institutions should continue using the Quarterly Budget and Expenditures Report (QBER) form that is posted to ED's Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) reporting website for the calendar year 2022, first quarter report submission that is due on April 10, 2022.

ED had previously published in the Federal Register a revised form — for which it had received emergency OMB clearance — but had not yet released an official final version.

ED has indicated that it does still intend to revise the QBER form for the second quarter reporting period. Watch Today's News for more information as it becomes available.
