NASFAA Welcomes 2021 Dallas Martin Endowment Policy Intern Richard Davis

NASFAA is excited to welcome Richard Davis Jr. as the 2021 Dallas Martin Endowment (DME) Policy Intern. Currently a student in the Masters of Public Administration program at Louisiana State University, Richard received a bachelor's degree in middle school education from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he also served as Student Body President. Richard has also served as a student member of the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, as the student representative on the advisory board for the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance, and as a Lamar Governor's Fellow with the Louisiana Office of the Governor. Richard brings a passion for improving educational access and attainment, with a special focus on historically underrepresented populations, including first-generation, low-income, and minority students. We look forward to having Richard with us this summer — keep an eye out for his introductory article coming soon!
