NASFAA Welcomes Timothy Maggio to Communications Team

Tim Maggio

Please join us in welcoming Timothy Maggio as NASFAA's first Community Manager. Tim, who will be working on NASFAA's communications team, comes to us from American University where he has worked since 2019 as a financial aid counselor, and most recently as the assistant director of financial aid. Tim also brings experience in community building through his previous roles in student residence life at Shepherd University and James Madison University. He has been active in the DE-DC-MD Association of Student Aid Administrators, serving as its treasurer since July 2021. At NASFAA, Tim will help build, grow, and manage NASFAA's communities. We are thrilled to have Tim join the NASFAA staff!

NASFAA reserved the last two webinars in the 2021-22 webinar package to address timely hot topics resulting from recent regulatory changes and/or identified by the financial aid community. NASFAA is excited to share the selected topics of these webinars. On Wednesday, May 18, tune in for a webinar reviewing Your Top Ask Regs Questions. On Wednesday, June 8, join NASFAA’s Dana Kelly and David Futrell for a webinar on FAFSA Simplification.

NASFAA is hosting a 100% virtual conference exclusively focusing on clock hour programs, which will take place next week, April 11-14, 2022.  Daily webinars — focusing on topics such as clock hour SAP policies, distance education, compliance issues, and other clock hour challenges — will cover basic and advanced regulatory practices applicable to clock hour institutions. The conference, which is free to NASFAA members, is quickly approaching, so register today to secure your spot.
