In an effort to ensure that institutions of higher education are utilizing best practices on administrative holds, such as transcript withholding, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), have detailed a framework with which schools should approach the development of their policies.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Double Pell Alliance is hosting a webinar on April 26, from 1-2:15 p.m. ET for student advocates and student organizers  to learn how to ensure Congress hears their voice on why increasing the Pell Grant is so important to making college affordable. The event will feature Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), advocacy experts, and current students as they explain how to get involved in #DoublePell advocacy efforts while emphasizing the importance of the Pell Grant in making college dreams a reality. The free webinar will include discussion, Q&A, and a walkthrough of campaign materials. Participants will leave this event with a strong understanding of how to get involved in the #DoublePell campaign.
