While the Department of Education (ED) continues to encourage eligible borrowers to make use of temporary waivers aiming to streamline the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, federal officials are looking to provide additional resources to students seeking out the available benefit.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

The answer is that it's up to the institution's discretion and SAP policy. According to additional guidance NASFAA has received from ED, ED does not allow for academic amnesty or forgiveness within a school's SAP policy regarding all coursework that is part of a student's program of study.
