As conversations continue over a potential framework for student loan cancellation through executive authority, policy experts continue to offer analysis on the implications of such a move from the Biden administration, with a new paper detailing the ways in which debt forgiveness will close the racial wealth gap and help fix the broken repayment system.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Blue Icon Advisors, NASFAA Consulting, is pleased to announce David D. Page, vice president for enrollment management at Dillard University, will be joining our team as a senior consultant. David has overseen the offices of financial aid, admissions, registrar, and evening program at multiple institutions, working with them to collaboratively design and implement enrollment management strategies and goals. "David has served students and the financial aid profession for nearly 30 years. David is the 2016 recipient of the NASFAA Regional Leadership Award (SWASFAA) and has served in numerous leadership roles at the state, regional, and national levels.
