Just less than four years after its launch, the Department of Education (ED), citing low consumer engagement, is slated to wind down support for its mobile app and instead direct borrowers to StudentAid.gov, where applicants more regularly submit their FAFSA application materials.

The Department of Education (ED) will be hosting a Quarterly Report Technical Assistance webinar tomorrow, Thursday, June 23, to go over updates to the Quarterly Budget and Expenditures Report (QBER) form that are expected to be unveiled at the end of this week. During the webinar participants will have an opportunity to ask questions via chat. Additional information can be found by reaching out to ​​[email protected]. As a reminder, ED is requiring that this new form, the publication of which has been delayed, be submitted by July 10, 2022. Stay tuned to Today’s News for more information as it becomes available.
