In kicking off the Tuesday session of the 2022 NASFAA National Conference in Austin, attendees had the chance to hear directly from the head of Federal Student Aid (FSA) Richard Cordray, who provided NASFAA members with details on the latest initiatives related to student aid programs.

The second full day of the 2022 NASFAA National Conference in Austin kicked off with a federal update from Department of Education officials, including Federal Student Aid Chief Operating Officer Richard Cordray, who gave a wide range of updates on topics including FAFSA simplification, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, borrower defense, and more. Attendees were also able to attend a variety of interest sessions, including those focused on bias in higher education financing, FAFSA simplification, financial aid's role in the enrollment crisis, and a public policy open forum.
