NEWS FROM NASFAA

A ballot measure that would grant in-state tuition to undocumented students in Arizona was narrowly approved by voters on Monday night, the Associated Press called. 

This year, NASFAA again focused much of its policy efforts on helping members manage the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic while also advocating for longer-term policy changes. We spent much of the year navigating the slow-moving FY 2022 appropriations process while launching work related to the multi-year FAFSA simplification implementation. In addition, NASFAA engaged in important policy research under several generous grants, including evaluating the HEERF rollout and implementation, and reimagining college admission and financial aid through an equity lens. NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

This online course begins Jan. 10, 2023, and will focus on the fundamentals of financial aid including applying, financial aid concepts, categories and types of financial aid, the Title IV aid programs, other federal sources of student assistance, and comparing financial aid offers.
