NEWS FROM NASFAA

This week on "Off The Cuff," Justin and Karen are joined by Jon Fansmith, the American Council on Education's incoming senior vice president of government relations, to discuss the new Congress’ higher education agenda along with the Department of Education’s regulatory roadmap for 2023.

The Department of Education (ED) on Wednesday published in the Federal Register a Request for Information (RFI) regarding public transparency for low-financial-value postsecondary programs. The RFI shares ED’s plans to publish an annual list of low-financial-value programs and solicits public comment on how the department should go about developing the list, including the data, metrics, and methodology it could use to identify such programs.
