This week on a special episode of “Off the Cuff,” Justin is joined by Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, for a conversation that focuses on the policymaking landscape for higher education. The discussion dives into a number of topics including short-term Pell Grant legislation, implementation of FAFSA simplification, oversight on the administration’s higher education policies, and the committee’s higher education agenda for the upcoming session.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

NASFAA Office Closed Monday for Presidents Day Federal Holiday

The NASFAA office will be closed on Monday, February 20 for the Presidents Day federal holiday. NASFAA's Today's News will not be sent, and membership and technical support — as well as response to AskRegs inquiries — will resume when the office reopens on Tuesday, February 21.

Join NASFAA on Wednesday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. ET for a 75-minute webinar for graduate and professional financial aid administrators to discuss current issues of concern for their students and peers. NASFAA will provide an update on topics specific to the graduate and professional school community, and close with a question-and-answer session. This webinar is free to members, but you must register in advance.
