On behalf of our Advancing the Profession Task Force, we are proud to release our new Advancing the Profession Toolkit. The purpose of this toolkit is to provide resources for financial aid administrators to ensure they have a seat at the institutional decision-making table. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) announced on Friday that it is distributing over $4.7 million to consumers impacted by a financial aid scam from the College Financial Advisory and Student Financial Resource Center.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yes. Beginning with the 2024-25 award year, schools will be required to report to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System cumulative calendar year Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program earnings on an individual student basis. This means schools will be required to report 2022 calendar year FWS earnings before the start of 2024-25 application processing cycle. View the full answer to this question to learn more.
