NEWS FROM NASFAA

In 2023-24, the financial aid community tackled the delayed and glitchy rollout of the 2024-25 FAFSA form. Throughout the entire rollout process, financial aid professionals worked tirelessly to keep students, their families, and institutions fully informed about shifting timelines and errors in the form, and highlighted concerns about future cycles. Aid offices across the country continued to work with fewer resources and condensed timelines to ensure they could deliver aid to students. During this period, NASFAA provided members with the most up-to-date information possible through training, updated regulatory analysis, and guidance delivered via various platforms, helping financial aid professionals adjust to the changing student aid landscape, reach and achieve their goals, and expand their knowledge. Take a look at our annual impact report, for more on these and other efforts and accomplishments.
