In a book titled "Restorative Resistance in Higher Education: Leading in an Era of Racial Awakening and Reckoning," author Richard J. Reddick's explores how we, as educators and administrators, can navigate challenges stemming from America's deep, complex history of racial tension, rigid gender norms, and discrimination against factors such as sexual orientation and disability, and how we can foster healthier, more inclusive environments for our students. In the following book review, Corinne Supernor deputy director of financial aid at Georgia Military College, shares her opinions of its content. What follows are her takeaways, thoughts, and reflections.
