With the Trump administration and 119th Congress now underway, NASFAA has published a new document of policy priorities aimed at improving federal student aid and expanding access to higher education. The recommendations focus on continuing a smooth implementation of the 2025-26 FAFSA, strengthening student aid programs, streamlining student loan repayment, enhancing student aid delivery, and promoting accountability and transparency. NASFAA has also updated its Financial Aid 101 document that outlines resources to assist members of the 119th Congress.
