NASFAA is pleased to share a new resource financial aid administrators can use and share with families with concerns about whether and how their FAFSA data can be used and shared by the Department of Education (ED) for purposes such as immigration enforcement. While created by ED, this document does not reside on any department websites. Financial aid administrators can find it stored on NASFAA’s FAFSA simplification web center.

When Partner Connect and the E-App changed at the beginning of 2024, schools discovered they would need to add some unanticipated details to their application the first time they did a submission after that.
