NASFAA is pleased to share a new resource financial aid administrators can use and share with families with concerns about whether and how their FAFSA data can be used and shared by the Department of Education (ED) for purposes such as immigration enforcement. While created by ED, this document does not reside on any department websites. Financial aid administrators can find it stored on NASFAA’s FAFSA simplification web center.
NASFAA is thrilled to have actor, director, and television host LeVar Burton as the opening session speaker at NASFAA 2025 in Anaheim, CA. As the honored recipient of six NAACP Awards, a Peabody, a Grammy, and 14 Emmys, Burton has demonstrated that he can do it all. Join your colleagues for what is sure to be an exciting opening to NASFAA 2025. Registration is now open.
When Partner Connect and the E-App changed at the beginning of 2024, schools discovered they would need to add some unanticipated details to their application the first time they did a submission after that. And when the process and documentation to apply to be a Prison Education Program (PEP) via the E-App changed in the fall of 2024, it left schools with some questions about how to prepare before they do the actual application. This webinar, today at 2 p.m. ET, will share some real life experiences about the first time a college goes through the E-App after the changes in 2024. Reserve your seat today.
