NEWS FROM NASFAA

This week on "Off the Cuff," David and Hugh work through some possible blind spots for standards for academic progress (SAP) and discuss how institutions can review their policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date with the latest regulatory requirements.

With a new presidential administration in office, NASFAA, along with over 50 higher education organizations, called on the Department of Education (ED) to extend the institutional reporting deadline for gainful employment (GE) and financial value transparency (FVT).

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Join us on February 7 at 12 p.m. ET for a special episode of Voices of NASFAA to honor Black History Month and discuss #FinAidFeb with Brenda Ilojiole, who is currently the associate director of financial aid at Bethune-Cookman University. Brenda is also a current member of the 24-25 Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) at NASFAA. As we dive into Brenda’s experience, we’ll be celebrating the rich history of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) like Bethune-Cookman University and amplify the voices of the aid professionals who work there.
