Amid reports of impending staff restructuring and budget cuts to the Department of Education (ED), the department has reportedly fired eight out of 21 staffers who handled complaints filed to the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA), according to Politico.

By April 1, 2025, NASFAA will transition its professional credential tests and certification exam to reflect the legislative and regulatory requirements for the 2025-26 award year. View the NASFAA Testing Center for the schedule of updates, including brief periods when certain tests will be offline. Note that some domains will be updated earlier than others. You will be presented with the version of the test that is active on the date you take the test, regardless of when you purchased it, so be sure to prepare accordingly.
