For June’s state & regional association updates, we have the opportunity to hear about the annual conferences for OASFAA (Ohio), GASFAA (Georgia), EASFAA (Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators), and WASFAA (Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators). Additionally, WFAA (Washington) shares new election results, AASFAA (Arkansas) shares details of their spring training, and MASFAA (Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) gives a preview of its annual conference in October.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

NASFAA is excited to announce Elizabeth Jacquez-Amador, FAAC®, as the 2025-26 CFAA Commission Chair. With nearly 20 years of experience and a strong record of service at all levels of the profession, Elizabeth currently serves as the 2025 President of SWASFAA and as Director of Student Financial Aid at the University of New Mexico. Her leadership will help guide the Commission’s continued work of advancing the CFAA Program and supporting financial aid professionals across the country.
