NASFAA has confirmed that the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is extending the Admissions and Consumer Transparency Supplement (ACTS) reporting deadline for all institutions not included in the lawsuit against the Department of Education (ED). Earlier this week, a federal judge extended a temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration from enforcing its ACTS reporting deadline until April 6, but solely for public institutions within the 17 states named in a lawsuit. Institutions that don’t fall into this category (i.e. are private and/or are located in other states) now have an extended deadline of March 31.
