NASFAA 2021 Virtual Conference Registration


The health and safety of our conference attendees is of the utmost importance to us. At present, there are simply too many variables outside of NASFAA's control for us to feel confident in proceeding with our planned in-person convening. Registration Rates

Membership Status


$99 per Institution/Organization

All institutions that intend to renew their NASFAA membership — or join NASFAA — for the 2021-22 year are eligible to register for the virtual conference at this rate. This flat, one-time rate allows anyone from your institution/organization who is listed on your NASFAA membership roster to participate, simultaneously from multiple locations and devices, and take advantage of all virtual conference offerings.*

$99 per Individual 

We are pleased to offer registration to retired former NASFAA members at the same $99 rate we are offering to current institutional members.


Not Applicable

Registration for the NASFAA 2021 virtual conference is open exclusively to NASFAA members. We look forward to reuniting with all our non-NASFAA-member friends at the NASFAA 2022 National Conference.

* While NASFAA typically structures its national conference registration on an individual registration basis, this year, as a “thank you” for our members' continued support of NASFAA, our Board of Directors made the decision to offer institution-wide registration to all institutions that intend to renew their NASFAA membership (or join NASFAA) for the 2021-22 year. 

If another person at your institution/organization has already registered, contact information and connection instructions will display instead of the full registration process. Primary and secondary contacts at your institution/organization can update your membership roster in the Manage Institution/Organization area of their myNASFAA portal as needed, so everybody can attend or view the on-demand sessions in unique sessions. 

Included With Virtual Conference Registration

  • Access to the live broadcasts of all sessions for each user on the institution/organization roster. Users can access content independently, using their unique myNASFAA logins.
  • Opportunity to participate in an optional NASFAA U course, as well as the opportunity to take the corresponding credential exam.
  • Access to pre- and post-conference sessions designed to support and bolster diversity efforts.
  • Online access to all session handouts provided by presenters.
  • On-demand access, post-conference, to all recorded sessions* for one year following the air date, unless topic matter deems the presentation no longer valid.
  • Attendee rosters to connect with other participants.

* Please note, all sessions except the pre-conference NASFAA U Return of Title IV course, will be recorded.

Cancellation Policy

If you previously registered for either the planned on-site convening that was to be held June 28-29 in National Harbor, Maryland, or the NASFAA 2021 Conference Retrospectives, your registration will be automatically canceled and you will not be invoiced. There are no additional steps you need to take to cancel your prior registration, and no money is due. Please note: Your prior registration will not be automatically converted to registration for the NASFAA 2021 virtual conference. If you wish to participate in the virtual conference, set for June 21-25, please register your institution now and encourage your staff to complete the secondary registration process for sessions of interest to them.

All NASFAA 2021 virtual conference sessions, except the pre-conference NASFAA U Return of Title IV course, will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing after their live air dates. As such, no refunds or cancellations will be offered for NASFAA 2021 virtual conference registration. 

We have not provided a change of attendee form because, unlike at previous conferences where registration was for an individual, when you register for the NASFAA 2021 virtual conference, everyone listed on your NASFAA membership roster receives access to both the live and on-demand content. If you need to update your membership roster, the person designated as the primary contact at your institution or organization can do so in the Manage Institution/Organization area of their myNASFAA portal.
