Opening Welcome From NASFAA’s National Chair & Professional Credentialing Opportunity — Cash Management

Strengthen your understanding of cash management requirements within the Title IV programs in this comprehensive virtual training. Designed for financial aid professionals at all levels, this course provides a practical foundation for managing federal student aid funds in compliance with federal regulations. Completion of this online training qualifies individuals to take the corresponding NASFAA Professional Credential test at no additional cost. To qualify: - LIVE attendance is required. You will NOT receive complimentary access if you only view the on-demand recording. - You must view at least 120 minutes (two hours) of the session. - Provide your NASFAA ID when you complete the secondary registration process for the session. Instructions to find your NASFAA ID are available online: https://www.nasfaa.org/find_nasfaa_id - Access to the credential test will be granted within three business days of the session air date. - The session will be recorded and available on demand during the 40-day credential testing window.

Norma Robinson

Norma Robinson

Compliance Generalist

Norma Robinson is a compliance generalist and NASFAA U instructor, joining NASFAA’s Training and Regulatory Assistance team in 2022. After working briefly in admissions and advising, Norma found her niche when she began working in financial aid in 2005. Prior to joining NASFAA, Norma worked at Barry University, serving undergraduate, graduate, and professional students as a financial aid counselor, assistant director, and ultimately as senior associate director. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree from Barry University. As a nearly lifelong Florida resident, Norma has lived all over the state, but settled in South Florida in 2007. She lives in Hollywood, FL, with her husband and Chinese Crested dog, and enjoys reading, kickboxing, and listening to podcasts.
David Tolman

David Tolman

Instructional Design and Content Specialist

David Tolman has been in the financial aid field since 1992. Like many financial aid administrators, he thought his first financial aid job would just be a temporary thing. Prior to joining NASFAA in 2012, David had worked in many positions in financial aid offices, including director. He also taught Principles of Microeconomics courses when his schedule allowed. As an instructional design and content specialist at NASFAA, David is able to combine his experience in financial aid and his love of teaching and training. His education includes a master’s degree from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
