Search the Innovation Hall for one of 10 hidden Golden Tickets. Tickets will be hidden only in public areas, not inside exhibitor booths. If you find one, bring it to the NASFAA Booth (#301) to claim your prize!
The hunt will end when all tickets are found, or by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, whichever comes first. Prizes are limited to one per attendee.
1. Eligibility: NASFAA 2026 - The Golden Ticket Scavenger Hunt (“Hunt”) is available to all registered attendees of the NASFAA 2026 National Conference, held June 29 - July 2, 2026. Employees of NASFAA (“Sponsor”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. The Hunt is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully, unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of NASFAA as final and binding as it relates to the content.
3. NASFAA 2026 - National Conference Golden Ticket Scavenger Hunt event time & duration: Golden Tickets may be found during open Innovation Hall hours during the conference:
5:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026
9:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026
8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026
4. How to Participate: Visit the NASFAA Innovation Hall, located in Prince George’s Hall D & E in the Gaylord National Convention Center, to find one of ten (10) Golden Tickets hidden in the hall. Upon finding a ticket, visit the NASFAA booth (#301) to claim your prize. Limit one prize per person.
Tickets will be hidden in public spaces throughout the Innovation Hall but not within exhibitor booths. Those who enter exhibitor booths or otherwise tamper with exhibitor property will be disqualified from participating in the Hunt.
5. Prizes: Winners will receive the item indicated on their Golden Ticket. The following prizes and quantities will be available:
Five (5) $10 Starbucks Gift Card
Four (4) $20 Amazon Gift Card
One (1) NASFAA 2027 National Conference registration - may be applied to any member of the winner’s institution/organization
The Hunt and subsequent prize redemption will begin at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026 and will continue until the earlier of either (a) all ten (10) Golden Tickets have been redeemed or (b) 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. If all ten (10) Golden Tickets have been redeemed before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, NASFAA will notify conference attendees via the NASFAA 2026 National Conference app.
The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for NASFAA to use the winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
7. Winner determination: Winners must identify themselves by visiting the NASFAA booth (#301) between 5:45 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with receipt of a Golden Ticket. NASFAA staff will verify the prize indicated on the Golden Ticket, collect the ticket, and issue the prize. Limit one Golden Ticket redemption/prize awarded per person.
The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Hunt is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE Hunt AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
8. Rights Granted by you: By redeeming a Golden Ticket and accepting a prize, you understand that anyone acting on behalf of NASFAA or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the world, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Hunt and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
9. Terms: NASFAA reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Hunt should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Hunt. In such case, NASFAA may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by NASFAA. NASFAA reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Hunt or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.
NASFAA has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Hunt, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Hunt rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering.
Any attempt by an entrant to undermine the legitimate operation of the Hunt may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, NASFAA reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless NASFAA and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Hunt and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
11. Disputes: THIS Hunt IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF UNITED STATES AND Washington D.C., WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Hunt, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Hunt, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Washington, D.C. having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Hunt), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
