Registered attendees are encouraged to sign up today to have your professional headshot taken during the Leadership Conference, compliments of Blue Icon Advisors. Headshot appointments are available in 20-minute blocks on Monday, February 5. Up to 5 attendees may sign up per 20-minute block of time.

The information provided on this sign-up list is available to conference attendees, including exhibitors and NASFAA staff, and all headshots will be provided as a single link with files available to download after the conference has concluded. 

When signing up, the times are listed in the Eastern time zone, based on the conference location. If you add your slot to your online calendar, please adjust the time accordingly.

Tips for Taking a Great Headshot

Clothing

• Wear layers, such as blazers, scarves, or suits with or without ties.
• Avoid:
  • Plain white shirts since the background is white/light gray.
  • Busy patterns, including tight herringbone or grid-like patterns.
  • Shirts with logos or words.
  • Turtlenecks or high scarves.

Hair

Hair tends to look its best about two weeks after a cut and/or color. Make sure to check and touch up your hair prior to your photo.

Makeup

Avoid heavy makeup. Natural-looking makeup works well, unless your normal work look is bolder. Do not do anything out of your comfort zone.

Accessories

Some jewelry can make the headshots look polished, but are certainly not a must.
