Aaron Lemon-Strauss is the Executive Director of the FAFSA Program at Federal Student Aid. This new role brings together responsibility for all aspects of the FAFSA to support stronger outcomes for students, counselors, financial aid administrators, and all other stakeholders who rely on the FAFSA. Aaron has spent 20 years in digital product development in education, including leadership across the non-profit, for-profit, and now public sectors. He most recently served as Chief Product Officer for Stride, having previously been Vice President for College Access Products at College Board.

Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs is the director of student aid policy for the U.S. Department of Education (ED) office of Federal Student Aid (FSA). Moseley-Hobbs’ career in postsecondary education and federal student aid spans more than 20 years. She has held various positions, including technical specialist, financial aid director, and policy specialist. Moseley-Hobbs’ focus and subject matter expertise include the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, student eligibility, verification, needs analysis, and support for homeless youth, foster youth, and incarcerated students. Moseley-Hobbs has contributed to guidance and outreach in FSA areas, including FAFSA® design and completion, verification selection and guidance, Student Aid Index/needs analysis formulas, student eligibility, and the design and administration of experiments under the ED’s Experimental Sites Initiative. She and her team collaborate with other ED offices, as well as other federal agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
