Zack serves as the Executive Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), a Minority Serving Institution enrolling approximately 30,000 students. Prior to joining the UNLV team, he served for several years as a Training Officer at the U.S. Education Department, and has held leadership positions at small liberal arts colleges, large non-profit universities, and graduate schools in the Midwest and New England, including roles in admissions and institutional research. It is his primary goal in higher education to make it more accessible and inclusive, especially to communities who have been historically under- or poorly served.

Marvin Smith serves as the executive director of UCLA Financial Aid & Scholarships. Marvin has served the financial aid profession for more than 30 years in leadership positions for Purdue University, Ivy Tech Community College, and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Marvin has been highly involved in financial aid professional organizations at the state, regional, and national levels, as well as with the College Board and the Coalition of State University Aid Administrators (COSUAA, the national organization of large public university aid directors). Marvin is the past national chair of COSUAA, the past-president of the Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA), and currently serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). He earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree from Purdue University.
