Three sponsorship levels (platinum, gold, and silver) are available to promote your brand and showcase new products to NASFAA members even before you set up your exhibit at the San Diego Convention Center Sails Pavilion.

  • Charging Stations - Keep attendees powered up with a branded charging station within the Innovation Hall. The station offers 45 portable power banks, perfect for on-the-go charging of phones, tablets, and laptops. The station and batteries will be customized with your logo.
  • Coffee Lounge - Attendees can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee during set hours at the lounge coffee stations. Consider this an extension of your booth and have staff mingle and greet attendees. A banner with your logo will be hung above the lounge so attendees can easily find it.
  • Conference App - Your company's branding will appear throughout the NASFAA 2027  conference app. 
  • DJ Sponsorship - Your sponsorship will kick off each day of the conference, with our DJ giving you a daily shout-out! You'll also be featured in all pre-conference promotions and a co-branded DJ booth.
  • Entertainment Lounge - Attendees can take a break and enjoy the entertainment. The lounge will include a variety of entertaining attractions aligned with the conference theme. Consider this an extension of your booth and have staff mingle and greet attendees. A banner with your logo will be hung above the lounge so attendees can easily find the lounge.
  • Local Flavor Lounge - Each year, our centrally located lounge will feature local flavors highlighting our conference city. Expect fun, interactive features to engage visitors. Consider this an extension of your booth, with staff hanging out and greeting attendees. A banner with your logo will be hung above the lounge so attendees can easily find the lounge.
  • Meet Your Match Game - Sponsor our Meet Your Match game to have your logo printed on each button and instruction card. Once attendees find others with the same number, they'll visit your booth to enter NASFAA's prize drawing. Exposure and booth traffic — it's a win-win!
  • Neck Wallets - All attendees will wear their badges in the neck wallet throughout the conference, making this one of the most visible sponsor opportunities. Your company name will be imprinted on the neck wallet alongside the NASFAA logo.
  • Photography Lounge - It's time to shine! Attendees can stop by the lounge for a professional headshot as well as fun and candid photos — two options in one lounge! Consider this an extension of your booth and have staff mingle and greet attendees. A banner with your logo will be hung above the lounge so attendees can easily find it.
  • Pickleball Court - Be the talk of the Innovation Hall by sponsoring the pickleball court. Featuring a co-branded pickleball court and equipment, consider this an extension of your booth for meeting and mingling with players.
  • NASFAA Conference Insider's Guide Webinar Sponsorship - Sponsor the spring 2027 pre-conference informational (ask me anything) webinar for all attendees. Your logo will be featured throughout the session, and a member of your team may speak about the Innovation Hall experience.
  • Reception Package - Executive Leadership Collective & Developing Leaders Pipeline - Two outstanding receptions combined into one sponsor package! As the sponsor for our Executive Leadership Collective and Developing Leaders Pipeline receptions, you are invited to attend both events and mingle with participants. The sponsor will be recognized on signage, in the conference app, on drink tickets, and on branded napkins at both receptions.
  • Registration Bags - Given to each attendee at check-in, display your company name or logo alongside the NASFAA logo. 
  • Relax & Recharge Lounge - Time to unwind. This lounge will include a masseuse and other amenities to help attendees decompress. Consider this an extension of your booth and have staff mingle and greet attendees. A banner with your logo will be hung above the lounge so attendees can easily find it.
  • Wi-Fi - Free internet access is the service most requested by NASFAA attendees. This sponsorship is certain to garner your company much positive attention. As the sponsor of Wi-Fi access, your company will be recognized on the internet access screen that all attendees must view to log onto the internet, on Wi-Fi login instructions on conference badges, on signage, and anywhere else the Wi-Fi access code is given.

Gold Sponsors (select one)

  • Attendee Pin - Pins are in! Help attendees add to their collection with a 2027 co-branded pin.
  • Blue Light-Blocking Glasses - Help conference attendees relieve eye strain and focus on your message with blue-blocker glasses. Your logo will appear on the side.
  • Certification Luncheon - As a sponsor, you are welcome to join us at the FAAC® Networking Luncheon and provide giveaways to the attendees. Stay and mingle after the program. The sponsor will be recognized on any signage and the conference app.
  • Conference Survival Kit - For when financial aid pros need a different kind of aid, this kit provides the basics: pain relievers, bandages, and more. With your logo on the bag, attendees will think of you when they need a little help.
  • First-Time Attendee Event -  As a sponsor, you are welcome to join us at the first-time attendee event and provide giveaways. Stay and mingle after the program to network with our first-time attendees. The sponsor will be recognized on signage and the conference app.
  • Hand Sanitizer Bottles - Be ready to shake hands with these branded bottles. Display your company name or logo, along with the NASFAA logo. Available at registration.
  • Hydration Packets - Keep conference-goers energized with this flavored drink mix. Your logo appears on the packet.
  • Morning Beverage Breaks - These breaks will be set in the Innovation Hall and near sessions. Your company will be recognized on signage and the conference app. You may further customize the experience by purchasing logo-printed napkins or coffee sleeves.
  • Notepads - As the sponsor, your company logo will be printed on each page of the notepad, along with the NASFAA logo.
  • Opening Night Reception in Exhibit Hall - Help us kick off the conference with the opening night reception. The sponsor will be recognized on signage in the hall, and your organization's name will be printed on drink tickets.
  • Photo Stations - Attendees will remember you long after the conference with our co-branded photo stations. Similar to our Milwaukee butter cow backdrop, there will be multiple photo stations throughout the conference featuring your sponsor logo.
  • Regional and State Presidents Luncheon - As a sponsor, you are welcome to join us and provide giveaways to attendees. Stay and mingle after the program to network with regional and state leaders. The sponsor will be recognized on any signage and the conference app.
  • Sand Sculpture - Sponsor our San Diego sand sculpture to have your logo featured in the display and on the photo backdrop.
  • Sunscreen Lotion - Each attendee will receive a bottle of sunscreen customized with your logo.

Silver Sponsors (select one)

  • Bag Clips - Attendees will appreciate a useful household item that will display your brand year-round! 
  • Chocolate Coins - You'll be the sweetest sponsor of all by providing attendees with foil-wrapped chocolate coins featuring your logo. 
  • Cleaning Cloth - For glasses and all your digital devices, everyone needs a cloth for home and office. Measuring almost 6" x 6" with your imprint on one full side in full color, along with the NASFAA logo. 
  • Cooling Towels - Lots of fun brand exposure on a great product for walking and running on hot summer days. Size: 12" x 31" with a significant imprint area for your logo, along with the NASFAA logo (5" x 10"). 
  • Crowd Swag - We'll kick off each full conference day with crowd swag featuring your logo! You may even join the NASFAA staff on the main stage as we toss the giveaways to attendees.

  • Stress Balls - Conference attendees will remember you long after the event, and perhaps often, whenever they're feeling stressed enough to reach for their stress ball!

Sponsorship Benefit Details

Business Affiliate Seminar

Receive one 60-minute concurrent conference session to promote your expertise and/or products and services. Seminars must be approved by NASFAA; NASFAA reserves the right to limit the number of participating organizations of any type (e.g., lenders, software companies, etc.) or to limit seminars on the same topic. Seminars are held concurrently with interest sessions and are listed in the conference app and on the conference website. Your sponsorship level determines the cost. Those who have purchased a seminar must submit their topic outline by March 5, 2027, via a NASFAA-provided link.  

Private Meeting Room (PMR)

A meeting room in the San Diego Convention Center for your exclusive use from Monday, June 21, to Tuesday, June 22. Room set and catering should be ordered directly through the San Diego Convention Center. Internet and electrical needs should be ordered via the instructions in the service kit (to be emailed in early 2027). The room will be empty unless you provide room set specifications. Additional details regarding your PMR, including location and available hours, will be provided in early 2027.

Additional Sponsor Information & Opportunities

Attendee Email List

All NASFAA National Conference exhibitors and sponsors will receive the attendee list for free, including email addresses for those who opt in to receive exhibitor communications. Please refer to our full email policy for more information on the timing of the lists, restrictions on message content and volume, and more. 

Communication from any entity outside of NASFAA regarding an attendee list for our National Conference is fraudulent. Please forward these messages to Carissa Uhlman-Campana or reach out if you have any questions. 

Charity Sponsorship

All exhibitors also have the opportunity to sponsor the NASFAA 2027 Charity 5K and associated charity events, a now beloved annual tradition that brings conference attendees together to support a local nonprofit. The $1,000 sponsorship puts our sponsors in the spotlight with ample recognition, including:

  • Your logo on the 5K shirt, the race registration site, and NASFAA webpage
  • Recognition in Today's News, the NASFAA online Slack Community, and NASFAA social media
  • Sponsor recognition during pre-event webinar/information session
  • Shout-outs/sponsor slide during our conference opening and closing sessions
  • Special recognition and participation benefits at additional TBD charity events. Previous events include Trivia Night, Silent Disco, and Topgolf.
  • Your own sponsor table during the 5K, and much more

Business Affiliate Seminars and Private Meeting Rooms

Available exclusively to NASFAA members, sponsors will have the opportunity to present a Business Affiliate Seminar at the conference. After sponsor selection, the remaining seminars may be sold to exhibitors.

Private Meeting Rooms may also be made available for purchase by exhibitors after sponsor selection. Please contact Carissa Uhlman-Campanato inquire about either option.

Keynote Speaker

NASFAA promises a marquee speaker for our 2027 event. This is an exclusive opportunity for one sponsor only to receive recognition and access, with your organization noted on all keynote sponsor marketing, during the session introduction, and included in a private meet-and-greet session. Available for $10,000.

Friend of NASFAA Sponsorship

Available for purchase May 2027; reserved for those unable to attend the conference. 

The "Friend of NASFAA" option allows non-attendees to choose one of our remaining sponsor items for only $2,000. Available items will be announced in May 2027 and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Previous options included pens, stress balls, bag clips, and hand sanitizer. If you want to be the first to know when the 2027 items become available, contact Carissa Uhlman-Campana to be added to our priority notification list. 

Policies

Deposits & Payment 

For those whose orders are placed as part of the Right of First Refusal process (during the 2026 conference in National Harbor), NASFAA requires a non-refundable 10% deposit of your total order by January 15, 2027. The remaining balance is due by April 30, 2027. 

For all other orders, NASFAA requires a non-refundable $1,000 booth deposit at the time of order. Full payment is due by April 30, 2027. 

Cancellations

Cancellations of exhibit space, conference branding and advertising, or sponsorships must be sent, in writing, to NASFAA by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, March 19, 2027. No refunds will be given after March 19, 2027, unless NASFAA is unable to hold an in-person event, in which case all payments will be refunded in full. No cancellations for sponsorships or advertisements are accepted, regardless of date, if materials have already been produced.

Gifts and Giveaways On-Site

No gift, giveaway, or raffle item may be valued at more than $20. View the full terms and conditions.

Meetings, Events, and Hospitality Suites

  • Company meetings may not be scheduled at times that conflict with any NASFAA conference activities, except for those companies that purchase a package with a private meeting room.
  • All requests for meeting space are coordinated through NASFAA. Submit any requests you have in writing directly to Carissa Uhlman-Campana.
  • Once approved by NASFAA, the event host will be responsible for all arrangements for the actual meeting, including advance advertising, room set-up, catering in accordance with the established rules, and payment of any charges associated with the function.

Exhibitor Descriptions for Digital & Web

  • NASFAA reserves the right to ask any exhibitor to adjust their listing as NASFAA deems necessary.
  • Companies are not permitted to list social events, such as receptions or parties, on their information page.
  • Sales by authorized representatives of exhibitors are permitted. However, such sales may include only products or services normally marketed by the exhibitor's company. NASFAA will assume no liability for any transactions between exhibitors and exhibit hall participants.
  • NASFAA shall be under no liability for its failure, for any cause, to insert a listing or for any error in any listing.
  • NASFAA reserves the right to review and, if necessary, reject all listings.
  • NASFAA does not guarantee any given level of circulation or readership for its website.
  • The exhibitor assumes liability for all content, including text and illustrations in published information, and assumes responsibility for any claims arising therefrom made against NASFAA, including costs associated with defending against such claims. The exhibitor agrees to hold NASFAA harmless for any claims arising from the exhibitor's advertisement.

Rules of Engagement With Institutions 

NASFAA's Code of Conduct states that "No amount of cash, gift, or benefit in excess of a de minimis amount shall be accepted by a financial aid staff member from any financial aid applicant (or his/her family), or from any entity doing business with or seeking to do business with the institution (including service on advisory committees or boards beyond reimbursement for reasonable expenses directly associated with such service)." In some interactions between associate and institutional members, what's acceptable and what's not may be cut-and-dry, but others may fall into a gray area. To help take the guesswork out of these interactions, NASFAA offers the following guidelines:

  • Gifts/giveaways should have a value of no more than $20.
  • Joining each other for meals is a standard business practice. If an associate member is to pay for the meal, it should not exceed $20 for breakfast/lunch and $60 for dinner.

Failure to follow the policies above, or other policies listed throughout the exhibitor website, stated or implied, may require a company to remove its exhibit, forfeit contributor privileges, and/or have its membership terminated.
