Compile policies and procedures from multiple places into one robust, complete, and compliant manual.

Situation

Dr. Mary Sauceda, Assistant Vice Provost of Student Financial Services at Southern Methodist University (SMU) contacted Blue Icon Advisors seeking assistance with their policies and procedures manual. Dr. Sauceda noted that the policies and procedures (P&Ps) were in multiple documents in hard and electronic versions.

Solution

Our consultant worked directly with Dr. Sauceda and the staff to collect, review, and write SMU’s P&Ps. Dr. Sauceda appreciated our consultant’s approach to the work.

“The project plan was organized, and I liked the way it was laid out. It made it easy for me to assign folks from my team to work on sections, then I was able to review after my team worked on their assigned chapters. It made the editing and approval process easy,” Dr. Sauceda said.

Outcome
