"The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators has released an online tool that estimates the impact of proposed budget cuts from the White House on student financial aid," ThinkAdvisor reports.
"The Budget Effect Estimator tool is an 'effort to help schools better understand the implications' of those proposed budget cuts, according to the NASFAA, but it can also provide students and their families (and financial advisors) with some perspective on the potential availability of student aid at individual schools."
NASFAA's "Headlines" section highlights media coverage of financial aid to help members stay up to date with the latest news. Inclusion in Today's News does not imply endorsement of the material or guarantee the accuracy of information presented.
