FAFSA Complications Cause Setbacks for Students, Universities

"The Free Application for Federal Student Aid can be the deciding factor for students entering college. This complicated form has had problems in the past and it just keeps piling up," Northwest Missourian reports.

..."It has become an issue for so many people that the C.E.O. of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Justin Draeger and President of the American Council Ted Mitchell have written an article for the New York Times regarding the subject.

'Moving forward, the Department of Education must meet its own timelines, putting aside blame and finger-pointing to provide the higher education community with better, continuing and more proactive communication about the FAFSA rollout,' they wrote in the article."
