"During the first two weeks of February, high school seniors across the state can receive free assistance in filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms," The Holland Sentinel reports.
"During the MI College Goal event, students and their parents can get help filing their FAFSA, meet with financial aid professionals to learn about resources, admission requirements and get connected to information about student services statewide.
Though there are no events scheduled in Holland, students can find assistance from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, in Allegan at the County Area Technical & Education Center and in Grand Rapids at Grand Valley State University. There is also an event slated from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Grand Haven High School. ...
The MI College Goal events began in 2004 as 'College Goal Sunday' as a cooperation between the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Lumina Foundation for Education."
