Amanda Sharp
Regulatory Specialist, NASFAA
Amanda Sharp is a Regulatory Specialist at NASFAA. Amanda joined NASFAA in 2013 where she has been involved in the management of NASFAA webinars and NASFAA U online courses, updating NASFAA publications, researching and writing NASFAA training materials and webinars, presenting at conferences, instructing facilitated online courses, presenting webinars, and responding to technical questions regarding regulatory issues through NASFAA’s AskRegs service. Amanda received both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of North Alabama. She began her career in financial aid at the University of North Alabama, serving as the Associate Director of Student Financial Services. She is a former president of AASFAA (Alabama), and was an active member of SASFAA. Amanda lives in Florence, Alabama where she enjoys the country life with her husband, Mark. She enjoys running, tending her many pets, sewing, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren!
