Subject: Live Internet Webinar – The FISAP in the COD System

Summary: This letter announces Federal Student Aid's instructor-led, online training session that will provide information on the upcoming transition of business processes for the Campus-Based programs to the COD System.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar that will describe the transition of business processes for the Campus-Based programs from the eCampus-Based (eCB) System to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System. Schools will begin using the COD System for Campus-Based business processes on March 26, 2018. The webinar will explain the reasons for the transition and provide an overview of Campus-Based functionality in the COD System.

This webinar is intended for financial aid administrators who have operational responsibility for Campus-Based processing, including those who are responsible for completing the Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP).

Federal Student Aid staff will present this webinar in a 90-minute session offered on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. Eastern time (ET) and again on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 4 p.m. ET.

Note: There may be a difference between a trainee's local time and Eastern time. To determine local time and its Eastern time zone equivalent, click on this link:

Advance registration is required for this training and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To allow for as many participants as possible, we strongly encourage groups to view the webinar from a single location if accommodations allow. If viewing as a group, only one person from the group needs to register. To register for the webinar, click on this link:

Once registered, we will send an email confirmation to the trainee. The trainee should retain this confirmation, as it contains important information, including linking and log in information for the website, system test links, and cancellation information. If unable to attend, we request that the trainee cancel his or her registration so that individuals who wish to attend may do so.

Note: If you do not receive the email confirmation, please check your junk or spam email folder and notify your IT administrator that messages from the email address “[email protected]” should not be blocked.

Presentation materials will be available for each trainee to download after he or she signs in to the webinar. During the webinar, trainees will be able to ask questions electronically using their computers.

We look forward to your participation. If you have questions, please contact Stephanie Gross at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Federal Student Aid
