Subject: 2020-2021 EDE Technical Reference (Final)

We are pleased to announce the posting of the complete version of the 2020–2021 Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) Technical Reference. The EDE Technical Reference provides programmer specifications, record layouts, and other detailed information for schools or other organizations that need to design software systems to interface with Federal Student Aid's application processing system.

The posting adds 2020–21 versions of the Cover, Table of Contents, Change History log, Overview, EDE Processing, Processing Codes, and Printing sections and includes updated Record Layouts and Processing Codes sections, which were posted in May 2019.
